I am planning to go to queensland, Australia. What are some of the best places to go? |
Travel Info this is appart from the theme parks because i am oviously already going there . . . i am from perth if that makes answering this question any easier. Travel Tips Depends what you are really into .. age group - do you have kids with you etc..... anyhow I live in Cairns .. so here are a couple unique things to do here::: Obviously top of the list is going out on the Great Barrier Reef - do the http://www.scubadoocairns.com or http://www.seawalker.com.au Cable Skiing Water Park is new to Cairns - http://www.cableskicairns.com.au... (right next door to Aboriginal Culture Park and the Skyrail) http://www.paronellapark.com.au... Daintree Discovery Centre - http://www.daintree-rec.com.au A trip to the Aboriginal Culture Park http://www.tjapukai.com.au and on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. http://www.skyrail.com.au (same car park, right next door to each other) The skyrail takes you up to the rainforest village of Kuranda. http://www.kuranda.org - or take the skyrail up one way and train back down to the city. Kuranda Scenic Railway http://www.ksr.qr.com.au See a croc right on top of the casino in the city - http://www.cairnsdome.com.au Other things to see in Cairns http://www.tropicalaustralia.com.au/thin... http://www.cairnsvisitorcentre.com... Hartley's Creek Crocodile Farm - http://www.crocodileadventures.com... Have fun on what ever you decide. Others Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Fraser Island, The Whitsunday Islands, Cairns, Great Barrier Reef, Port Douglas, and the Daintree. Enjoy! *U could always visit their site on net and see what they have to offer !!!! WTF K bear, how much effort do u wanna go to?! Go to the goldcoast. surfers paradise in gold coast, ayres rock, Cairns and Townsville for the pubs and the Barrier Reef. Townsville is near Magnetic Island which makes a good day trip. Cairns - just go to any backpackers bar and it's heaps of fun! (And Ayers rock, which isn't called that anymore it's Uluru, is in the Northern Territory not Queensland stupid guy who said it) When you say theme parks, does that mean you're going to Australia Zoo? It's worth a visit in my opinion. I've been there many times and it just gets better and better. Have a fantastic holiday, whatever you do. |
