I used to live in Hamilton but I had never been to that area. I would like to know what kind of area it is. Lower middle class, middle middle class, etc. Is it safe, as in no street cars, mobs, etc? What is the crime rate in this area? Is there a crime rate and what is the most common crime? What are the people like that live in this area? What is their makeup, European, etc? I live in Japan so it is hard for me to go and see for myself. Thanks a lot to anyone who can help me. Kind regards, Sean.

St Andrews is middle-upper class. Nice leafy, well established suburb. Borders on new housing developments adjacent to the Waikato River. Minimal crime. No mobs. Mixed European and Maori ethnicities. Good schools. Reasonable transport. Plenty of local shops. |
