Cairns, Perth and Darwin, which one is best travel destination? |
Travel Info Please advise on the thing to take note when going to the chosen destination such as why it is so nice, what are the pro and cons etc... Travel Tips Cairns. Because the Great Barrier Reef and The Daintree Rainforest are two of the most amazing things to see on Earth. Others Cairns has more of a variety of things to do but Darwin is just totally awesome. Cairns has your water themes whereas Darwin has your wilderness, I would say that's the major difference. Things to take note on: the wet season (Nov-Mar) is on average 90% humidity and up... not comfortable in any way shape or form. (There are less tourists though and you could get more of a chance to see the wildlife around Yellow Waters though) I am in Perth and I love Perth, but I would say Cairns for the first answerer's reasons. Although WA also has beautiful reefs (the Ningaloo is better than the GBR according to some sources) and Karrigini National Park (sorry about spelling) to rival the Daintree - these are a plane flight (or very long drive) from Perth. So Cairns it is from my perspective! |
