If you are referring to the movie with Orlando Bloom, it is very good. I highly recommend it.
i learnt about him in school it was very interesting. he is an important part of Australian history and an iconic symbol for the nation.

its good that they are teaching kids about him and what happened to his family because his story really opens your eyes to how the Irish settlers were mistreated by english police. I think it is worth studying as he was a man pushed too far and he was a smart cookie to come up with the armour he used with the resources he had.

i haven't seen the movie yet but i hope they portrayed him in the right way.

thank goodness we aren't irish & had to try and survive in those times. really felt sorry for the kelly family.
Well, I think he was some sort of a hero although he was a murderer and thief. I believe he and his family were only treated wrong and he was trying to "fix" this somehow.
Sure, it wasn't right to murder and steal but how else could a poor man act in these days when you were starving and being treated like garbage as his family was? They only wanted to survive - somehow.
I believe that deep inside his heart he was a good man.
And if I had lived at this time and had been able to give something I would have helped them.
