I want to move to Australia ? |
Travel Info i want to live in Australia but im scared of leaving my family and friends nearly everybody knows i want to do it but there all against it ! its nice to be wanted but this is my dream! what are the good and bad reasons to stay and go ? Travel Tips Immigrating to Australia is etremely difficult to do. To get a work visa there you must have a job skill that is needed there. It is wise, and prob. the only option anyway, to go on a working holiday program and learn more. See website below. Source(s): http://www2.australia.com/whv/en/index.h... http://www.visabureau.com/australia/work... Other Travel Tips Go through this special program called BUNAC. It will allow you to work in Australia for 4 months. Give it a shot and see if you like it... Good luck! I am in the same boat as you. I want to live in Aus but a family member is not supporting me. Remember it is your life and do what makes you happy even if it disappoints others. But they will see how happy you are and they then will be the same. Have you been to Aus before? If not I would definitely try it out to see if it is a move you are willing to commit. If you don't go you will always wonder. Do what you feel is right for you. Allot more is involved than just wanting to live in Australia. Australia is not looking for immigrants unless you are skilled in an area we are short of. Check out the immigration site before you start making plans,it isn't easy to move here http://www.immi.gov.au/ I am live in QLD and let me tell you its a beautiful place, the beaches, the sun..the people...the rainforest the diversity of landscape..the wildlife! I would never want to move anywhere else and i have seen alot of places.. if this is YOUR dream then go for it! My Dad wanted me to move to England with my family..i felt pressured...i felt i needed to please my family but its your life.. IF YOU CANT PLEASE EVERYONE PLEASE YOURSELF! Why dont you come out for a couple years on a working visa and see what you think..? Theres been a bit of a backlash against immigration....but only by the rednecks in Queensland and Western Sydney. If you want to come, check out the all the immigration pages, and get your butt to Melbourne, where the mood is a lot more cosmopolitan than ~cough~ Sydney and Brisbane. I know there are skills shortages in education, health care, mining and the various trades which could be a ticket over hear if you wanted to stay permantly. But if you can't get hear directly, then try New Zealand citizenship because New Zealanders are allowed almost every benefit that Australians get outside of welfare. |
