I have no idea, what does norm stand for in Aussie land?

Travel Tips
It stands for 'normal'. If something is the norm, it is the normal thing to do/normal way of things. For example, if you say to someone, "We'll go to the beach on the weekend as is the norm" you are saying to them you're going to the beach on the weekend like you normally would. In North Queensland, Norm, as a name you might call someone, also represents an overweight, lazy person that doesn't exercise and is generally a couch potato. It originated from Life Be In It ads that encourage people to get outside and exercise rather than stay inside and watch T.V. Source(s): http://www.lifebeinit.org/
Other Travel Tips
If its a name its short for norman,or short for normal,as in the normal thing to do,
Norm... short for normal or short for the name Normie, another way of saying everything is the usual way.
