Travel Info Whats the best part of Australia to live and work as a fitter welder? Travel Tips If by best you mean best wage, then central Australia would have to be the best place to work. Maybe not to live though. My mate works for a mining company in North West Western Australia as a boiler maker welder and easily makes over $110000 a year. The job is fly in - fly out, he doesn't live there. Others I would say somewhere out west where there are heaps of factories. Somewhere around Penrith I would imagine Wherever you are lucky enough to get a job it's all about the same, so find somewhere that you would like to live and settle there. The wages won't change to much, and the work is very similar whereever you go. The industry is in demand at the moment so you will find it quiet easier i am sure to find work. Goodluck :) |
