Travel Info Hi Aussies, how do you get rid of your 5 cent coins? Travel Tips Our local supermarket has a "give 5 for kids" bin next to every check out for people to put any pesky 5 cent coins in. The money is donated to the childresn ward of the local hospital and some charity or other that has something to do with research into childhood diseases. PS they also have one of those big guide dogs near the door so that you can put the rest of your pesky coins in that and help the guide dog association train more guide dogs! Others Bundle them and send them to me..... mmmmm.....the 5 cent coin can be a real pain in the a$s!!! I find that i have about 20 of them in my purse at one time!!! But if i go and buy a juice, trust me i will ALWAYS be 5 cents short and have to break a note. How do i get rid of them - put them in charity tins!! How do u think??? You spend them!! Their are lots of things to buy priced at $1.95, $10.95, etc etc, If they are such a pain to you take them to a bank. I spend them when buying stuff. Always need to use 5cent pieces I put them in a jar and exchange them at a bank when I have way too many, then the whole process goes over and over. put them on a train track and get them back again squashed, just watch out for trains. |
