What is the best beach in Queensland? |
Travel Info What is the best beach in Queensland? Travel Tips For the most luxurious beach experiences, definitely visit Noosa - home to many of Queensland's well-known beaches. My two personal favourite are Sunshine Beach and Hastings Beach (though I believe they just call it 'Main Beach' now). Hastings (off of Hastings Street) can be crowded, but it depends on the time of year and time of day. You're sure to spot a famous person or two when you're there though! But it's not nessacerily a super expensive destination - the beach is perfect for all people, and the street behind is also one of the best for shopping and dining in Queensland as well! Sunshine beach is located about a 5 minute drive away fro Hastings, and the best entrace is off of Duke Street past the Surf Club (great restaurant!). This beach is never as crowded because the waves can sometimes be CRAZY! It's most appealing to surfers, or for people who want a quieter beach experience. Duke Street is also very picturesque and peaceful, and is home to some excellent cafes and restaurants. Others Any where on the Sunshine Coast. Rainbow Beach Kings Beach Alexandra Headland Mooloolaba Coolum Maroochydore and many many more. The Gold Coast has great beaches too. All up the Queensland coast you'll find wonderful beaches. Queensland has about 3000km of great beaches. Take your pick. If you are looking for a beach with clean sand, clear water and no people then Ellis Beach in Far North Queensland would have to be the best...Buchan's Point is also pretty good... Cowley Beach south of Innisfail is also beautiful if you want to avoid the crowds... |
