Three year old and holiday.. Can anyone suggest any good places to take a three year old on vacation? |
Travel Info Looking at an islands holiday. Fiji, Bali, and preferably able to get direct from Cairns? Thanks Travel Tips Hi...I lived in Cairns up until December 2006...I grew up in Cairns and miss is terribly... Singapore is a great place to take a child if you have never been there before. its very clean, is easy to get around and the Singapore Zoo is great...your child would love that... Although I do have to ask? Why not holiday in Australia? Take your son camping on the Tablelands and let him experience the great outdoors from a young age. before i left i took my daughter camping numerous times (she is about to turn three) and she had so much fun. we would go animal spotting at night and during the day. it was a great opportunity to teach her some basics of swimming and she got to just run herself tired every day. Milla Milla Falls has a great camp ground with cabins if you dont want to rough it. Why not check out North Queensland if you havent already...there are lots of places to see, just check out some the tourist brochures around town or talk to a local travel agent, im sure they will be able to make some good family-friendly suggestions... Others a 3 year old- hello! DISNEY WORLD! Kids love that place. They aren't going to truly appreciate some island getaway! I am not a fan of Bali at all, I would not take my child there. Why not stay in Australia? there is beautiful places right in your own backyard! For a 3 year old, try Broome or somewhere on the beach as he/sh may be a bit young for theme parks etc Have a 5 year old and every theme park we have been to he was too small for the rides he wanted to go on :o( I would have thought about anywhere at three. Unlike older kids who need specialized amusing three year olds are pretty adaptable. Holiday on the gold coast, The new White water world is great! We took our 4 year old there a couple of weeks ago . It was Fantastic. |
