RF Engineering Courses in Australia? |
Travel Info I realise this is not a travel question, but I have found that this is the best place to find Aussies! Do you know of any good RF Engineering Courses in Australia that can be studied externally? Thanks Travel Tips I've got an idea you live handy to the CQ University, I knew someone who did electrical engineering there when it was still called the CIAE. Why not ask there? Telstra used to do a fair bit of RF work for their microwave relay systems, an old mate of mine from Emerald trained with them and has mainly worked in RF, but says it is being overtaken by optical stuff. He eventually got an engineering degree. Then of course there is the Broadcast Operators Certificate of Proficiency or whatever it is called now. There used to be radio inspectors in Rocky, find them and they might be able to tell you about it. Maybe ask at the radio business on (Old?) Glenmore Road, they might know who to get hold of. Others http://tonex.com/show_category.php?categ... RF Engineering is kinda specific. Electronic engineering would be the general area to look for, with RF being a specialty. Maybe an option at the later stages of the course. For external study in general, I would look to Charles Sturt Uni first. They have an excellent range of Distance Education degrees. |
