Unbelievable place. The beauty is just breathtaking. So worth the trip. Taxis are expensive, but all big cities have good public transport (trains, buses, trams and underground). The weather is typically continental, warm and usually dry in spring and summer. What to see depends on how much time you have. Vienna is a must, of course, but Salzburg is very nice also.
