You have plenty of answers about the Euro already, however, before the Euro we had Schillinge and Groschen. There are a bit more than 13 Schillinge to a Euro, and 100 Groschen to a Schilling. During the second World War Austria had the Reichsmarken. Before that, there were Kronen, and Taler, though I'm not quite sure, if that was directly before the Second World War. Sorry.
