Travel Info Can anyone tell me if it is sfe to drive in natal brazil. Travel Tips Yes, reasonably safe. Small city. You can get from here to there in a flash. Driving about by yourself is an advantage - you can explore the lovely beaches along the coastline. Just take care of your valuables and dont look too touristy. Last time I was there somebody made a good bid to snatch a handbag my friend had left on her car seat. They were very clever about it too. Pretended to be a courting couple kissing beside the car but they were actually trying to get the door open. So watch out for thieves. Another thing, we were stopped for a police check of the car documents and drivers license. Make sure you have a valid license.Last time I was there it was pretty safe, it should be still. Yes, if you drive well and have a license. American license is not valid here |
