Travel Tips
Floripa (as locals call it) is very nice. The beaches are great and the south of Brazil is richer than the rest so it has less violence.

Having said that, remember that Brazil is a country of contradictions, with a huge divide between the rich and the poor. Depending on where you live now, you might find the sight of slums and street children (as in little kids, not the teenagers we are used to seeing in North America) a little hard to take.

Brazilians are warm wonderful people and they love foreigners to you are likely to be treated very well but hang on to your wallet and be street-wise, it's not fair to flaunt your money and it's a very poor country. Source(s): I'm Brazilian

Yes, would rank it as one of the best places to live for quality of life. Business wise if you want to be at the center then Sao Paulo city is where it happens. Depends on your line of work.
