You can travel by bus if you want to waste your entire vacation time getting there.
If you want to visit multiple destinations in Brazil, your best bet is purchasing a Brazil Airpass from TAM. I purchased one, which is only available to international tourists that buy them before their trip. They run about $135 per one way coupon. I think there is a minumum purchase of 4 coupons.
