Do lots of people participate in Festival forI emanja or are most people in Brazil afraid of Candombl?

Travel Info
Just wondering?

Travel Tips
Yes lots of people participate of Yemanja (Iansa) festivities. Mainly the coastal area of Brazil where boats adorned with flowers participate in processions. Candomble is followed by many, being an African root religion has been mainly followed by people descendants of slaves in Brazil. I think many people would be afraid of Candomble, but that's because people are afraid of what they don't know.
