How long is the drive between Vancouver & Toronto, driving through Canada?? |
Travel Info I'm thinking of driving from Vancouver to Toronto in an RV and was wondering how many hours the drive is? Thanks Travel Tips Going through Canada by RV and car it's different. With car...about 6 to 9 days.... 6 days. if your driving days and nights. 9 days... with be about it..if only daytime and following the rules.. With RV ., my opinion 2 days. more.. All depend which ways: transcanadienne...go through ok but you have to go through the rockies mountains...it's about 500 miles up and dowm and very upppppp and very dangerous..not in summer(less) but precipice etc..,, soooo longgggggggg to go through., so tuff..so hard ..we think we never went through those rockies...super beautifull at the beginning..buttttt gee ...Once a cry ...tooo long.. than after things goes smooth., very boring through the plane., of Saskatchewan, Manitoba...boring,, nobody there around...only grain and grain..but road is flat and goes fine.. your having a clue,,, have a nice trip., I crossed canada and usa for about 20 times... Us what we prefer is going around the Rockies., gong down British Colombie, around the Rockies and going back on the Transcanadian Highway....for us this is the best.. I hate travelling in usa...donttttttttttttttttttttt... some places they can stop you for tickets you never deserve..this is a very bad country usa about everything.. but just going around usa., have a map it's easy and must faster than to go through the ruff rockies...in between : BC and Alberta.. have a nice trip., if you never been in Province Of Quebec., this is a must.....Stop in Montreal, go shopping under ground and see shopping centers there...this is something subway this is super... montreal is sooooo big and sooo beautifull...Quebec ciry., old city and new part...shopping centers again and scenery....just marvelous as well. try to get some words in french ., they are a bit piccky lol. specially quebec city but the rest of quebec people are very sevilise and happy to have you there....IF YOUR HAVING KIDSSSSS GEEEEEEE YOU 'LL MAKE THEM MORE THAN HAPPY CAMPER....lot of things for kids there...you never see anything as such...go to see: Jardin Botanique de Montreal, sooo many thing to see and visit., you need to stay at least 3 months there.. Toronto is nice tooo, but only 1% of what is Montreal and Qubec Ciry.. stop in between : Montreal and Quebec ciry a city called: Drummondville, and get a poutine...real thing., it's 60 miles after Montreal., and 90 miles to reach Quebec from Drummondville, gee have nice time.... You will find out: that Province of Quebec is at least 400 years up at front of all others provinces.. but I still prefer the weather in Kelowna,, and pure air, and sceneries of b.c. quebec is an other world...like asia is an othe world for us.. bye have a super nice time., bring games, cards to go through canada and usa.....(you'll regret it if your not bringing things to play or do in a such trip) Source(s): Personal experiences... Other Travel Tips check on mapquest.com gives you the route & estimated time required 6 days to drive, 18 hour days driving, RV 10 days. 6 or 8 days. It is nice to stay in Canada, but if time is important, you can cut through the U.S. and shorten the trip. I had a friend who did it in 3 days, driving about 15-18 hours per day, but that's nuts! it is a very long and sometimes boring drive... have you considered taking a train... had some friends who did that and they loved it... guess it depends if you are planning on stopping along the way with detours... or just getting to ontario... |
