First off, you will be asked when entering the country for proof of adequate resources for the time you will be there. Second, you can not get a job without a SIN (Social Insurance Number) which you can only get when issued a Work Visa, Permanent Resident Visa, etc. Third, there are specific requirements involved for getting the above ... most of which involve applying from outside of the country ... Here is where the information is: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/ Recommend you keep saving your money and plan things a little more carefully, including application for status. . Others I wouldn't advise relying on that. If you try to get a job there most likely they want to see that you live there, and if you want a temporary job(less than 3 months) they probably wouldn't really feel too excited about hiring you. I think if you're persistent enough you can get a job over there, but I'm not sure if it will be a job you will like. My suggestion would be to see if you can find out if it's possible to get a job over there from now, or at least search online to see what's the job outlook over there. But to be on the safe side, make sure you have enough money for at least 2 weeks over there without a job. You don't want to risk it. See if your relatives can give you a no-strings-attached loan, or maybe your friends can help. Good luck and stay safe. Humm,, let's see: If your coming in Canada., for holiday,, this is something..you must have money to provide yourself., shelter, food etc...be carefull If you are coming with intention to work: you have to get a permit...working permit... Now canada is a very very large country, whre are you from and where you go.. ;; this is a matter. To enter in Canada , you must come from a country canada accepting entries ooff..check on internet foro more info... You might be refusing entry too: if your not qualify for >>>> Which Province do you want to go? East or West? What kind of work can youd doo.never say anything as answer because we dont have this kind of work here.. Be specific., such as: orchard work or picking fruits or just be specific..otherwise..you might be refuse.. If your having a specialty,, degree, or electrician, or computer tech or ????what ever ..be specific... If your having experience in health field ., mention it to the authority.. be specific.. this will help you a lot. Knows what you want., what you want to do., and be honest because they find out anyway. At this period of time,, you better having or money or working, canada will not feed you freely....but why not asking for temporary worker as farm, food, pickers fruits or vegetable...lot of work for lot of people here in canada..as far as we know what they want to do..and able too.. Look on internet about : Immigration Canada.. www.gc.com or anyother sources...yes we need lot of workers here ...just check it As Pichi says, you can't just fly into Canada and get a job. You had better do some saving and apply to emigrate. Not advisable at all, there's alot to do before you come here |
