To drive through Canada travling from michigan to New York do i need the use of a passport or not yet? |
Travel Info In the next couple of weeks im am going to be heading to NY from mi and i have a passport. But, my fiance does not is it still possible to cut through canada? Sorry ! yes i think as of jan 1 or so passport needed to get back into the states No. As of January you & your fiance need a passport. i know a few people that went to and from USA and Canada and did not use a passport, its just for flying, not for driving (although it wouldnt hurt) I dont see why not? as long as she got a photo ID it will be ok.. it's not in force yet so your OK.if still unsure about our asnwers. call the customs office in your area they'll tell you have fun travelling across canada it is a beautiful country |
