International Driving-license for Canada? |
Travel Info When I visit Canada next month is my German license good or do I need the International license? Travel Tips The rule of thumb: If your drivers license is not in English, you DO require an International License with it. You may get by depending on Province and car rental, but you are suppose to have one and coming without one limits your options. Check out this site. Other Travel Tips you can use it in Canada I would say to buy the car insurance when you rent as it covers everything its about $20.00 a day but well worth it. Enjoy your stay in my beautiful country. Your German license is accepted in Canada. Get the international licence. It is a translation of your German licence into several languages. It is relatively inexpensive. |
