Are Canadians interested in travelling to South Africa ? |
Travel Info If yes what would you like to see ? If no , why not ? Travel Tips Yes we are, show us your beautiful country. Maybe you can tell us what to see while we visit. Others I have already been there. I spent some time in Saldanha Bay on business a few years ago, and then took some time off to visit Capetown. Both areas were beautiful and the fresh seafood was fantastic. The Waterfront was nice, and I liked the Castle of Good Hope. Sadly, I missed a trip to Table Mountain and Robben Island, so someday I may go back. The only thing that was a drawback for me was the flight. It took me 8 hours to fly from Canada to France, and then another 8 to fly to Johannesburg and then on to Capetown. I would love to go to South Africa. For me the top things on my list would be Kruger National park, or anywhere to see the wild life, Kruger is just the park I know by name. I think it would be pretty cool to see a Super 14 or Springbok game but Rugby's not that popular in Canada so not sure if that would be a big tour to include in your biz. Victoria Falls, while not in South Africa if I'm going all that way I'm going to want to see that. I also remember reading about a luxury steam train that did Cape Town to Pretoria (I think). I'd want to do that. As for why someone wouldn't want to go, fear of crime maybe or the shear distance. Neither would keep me away though. Good luck with your business. |
