Can I keep my canadian drivers licence in the States?

Travel Info
Im going to be spending some time in the States (for hockey) and I was wondering if I could drive there with my Canadian licence or do I need to switch to an American one.

Travel Tips
It will vary with each state.
I believe residents need to change within 30 days.
This does not mean that you have to give up your canadian licence, just that you will need an american one.
May i also say that it is illegal to have both documents in your possession at one time, so only carry the one that is valid
Others
Your license is good for at least 90 days. If you plan to drive a commercial vehicle or motorcycle, you may need to prove that you have these privileges in Canada.
If you are a travel and still have a Canadian home address then yes you may but when become to live in the States after 30 days you must surrender your Canadian drivers licence.
I personally would keep but every 5 years is renewal time. You may return to live in that period of time.
