Montreal or St. John's NF?

Travel Info
I want to go on a trip to Canada for a week or so and I cannot decide between these two....I went to Newfoundland last January and totally fell in love with the place and I would love to go back but Montreal is cheaper and I have heard it is quite the place....So, what do you think?

Travel Tips
Montreal is quite the place. I'm not knocking St.Johns..I love the city as well, but considering you've never been, I'd be more inclined to visit Montreal (it may be cheaper to fly to, but more expensive to stay/visit)
Montreal is the closest thing to the "European" feeling in North America. It has history (Old City still has coblestone streets and historic buildings), nightlife (clubs on Cresent and St.Denis), Shopping (St.Catherines), and plently of culture.
Obviously it would help if you spoke some french, but if you're downtown, it won't matter.
I'm glad you enjoyed Newfoundland...the east coast is Awesome! (Of course I'm biased coming from New Brunswick originally). Hope you have a great trip!
Others
If you like night-life, shopping, festivals, and tourist attractions, then you should definitely go to Montreal.
Montreal in summer is lots of fun! There a festivals all summer, often more one at the same time. Plus all the great parks, the fun neighborhoods to stroll around in, the museums... Plus you've never been, be adventurous.
Montrealer (ok, so I may be a little biased...but Montreal really is great)
Well, Montreal is a great place to visit because there's many tourist attractions. If you come here, you should also check out La Ronde. =)
I live here in St. John's, and would suggest that you sit down and really look at the possibilities of the trip you want to take. If you have the time, then St. John's and the province of Newfoundland could be the right place for you for sightseeing and so forth. If you have not been to Montreal, they have a spectacular nightlife and old world charm.
I love Montreal! I've been there dozens of times. I've been to Newfoundland once (not St Johns - yet), and am going back in September.

If you've never been to Montreal, you should definitely check it out. You can do Newfoundland again the time after hat.
