Anyone know any nice lakes in Alberta? |
Travel Info I live in Edmonton and I love to camp. I'm hoping to get out this weekend or next, and would love some suggestions from others on nice lakes within a couple hours of the city. Ideally, camping on/near the lake, nice water that's worth swimming in, and maybe a little bit of a beach. Lake Wabamun - well, let's face it, after that train derailment, not for a few years, thanks. Sylvan Lake - way too commercial and crowded Other ideas? Travel Tips Go to Elk Island national park, there are lots of nice lakes there and lots of campgrounds or go north to lesser slave provincial park or south to pigeon lake provincial park Others they say`lake-ATREBLA` is a good`spot`in these` reversing`times` ` Try Moose lake its north of you in the Bonnyville area. |
