I'm Coming Back to Canada with Canadian PR Card and Foriegn Passport from USA, Will They stamp my passport? |
Travel Info They didnt put entry stamp when I came back from India last year. Also does it matter if my stay in US was illegal? will they ask question about that? Travel Tips canadians won't care whether you're an illegal in the US or not... all they care about is whether you're going to be an illegal in canada... but you said you're a permanent resident so there's no problem there. i don't know whether they'll stamp your passport or not... but when i left canada to visit the philippines (my home country), i wasn't stamped... as well as coming back into canada. guess it's not really that important... probably coz they'll have a record of you exiting and entering the country in their system. Others Hi, I'm George, I work at an immigration firm here in Canada called Immigroup. It is not an uncommon practice for Canadian authorities to not stamp your passport when you enter Canada. I would not worry about that. They generally don't care if you overstayed in the US, they only care how long you have stayed outside of Canada.
