Why are Canadians always so nice to others? |
Travel Info Why are Canadians always so nice? Is it in the blood or you all just so easy going? Eh? Travel Tips I tend to agree with "Bob Dole Jr." rather than the self-aggrandizing, egotistical Canucks that rejected his comments so forcefully. I think that once a nation of tough individualists, Canadians HAVE indeed evolved into a nation of gutless, leftist, wimps who today stand for NOTHING! Bob Dole Jr. must feel right at home in Mexico, because the corrupt, dishonest and criminal PRI which ruled (and ruined) Mexico for 71 years is so very similar in its crimes, manipulation and corruption to that other insult to democracy which has almost completely ruined the Land of the Hosers: the LIBERAL PARTY OF CANADA! Others Yeah right. Canadians are the same as anyone else. everyone should just b nice and kind to each other..........and im a Canadian......back atcha eh........ probably, part of their traditions, education and well morals that's why they are nice. well i can't argue with that because i've met lots of canadians and they are so warm hearted people. and they are not racist like some other people out there. I meet my fair share of a-holes every day and I live in Canada. I am a TOTAL 100% A-HOLE! I actually left Canada and now live in Mexico just because I can't stand the whining, left-wing, bleeding-heart sniveling of most Canadians! The "liberalism" and LIBERALISM of Canada actually makes me physically sick to my stomach! I was born in Vancouver General! And I am NOT nice! OK? Its NOT in the blood........... You know, I think the difference in Canadian and US cultures started ages ago. The US as a country, has been conflict centered from the start.They got their freedom from Britan by fighting. The root of the whole "right to bear arms" type of thinking. Then there was the civil war/revolution/abolition/the 60's race riots etc Every internal conflict pretty much in the US has been solved by folks fighting. Not so up here in Canada. We gained our independence from Britan by discussion and diplomacy.....and when it comes to our internal conflicts as a nation...we tend to be diplomatic about the resolution process.....sometimes it takes an agonizingly long time too! Canada was born from diplomacy, discussion and agreement....whereas the US was born of uprising and fighting and war. Im absolutely certain that this fundamental fact helped mold our two cultures to be different as they are today. As far as racism, there are racists up here but its not the same as in the US with blacks and whites. We didnt have slaves up here.There were many black folks, escaped slaves and freed slaves that made their way up here (some via the underground railroad) because of the fact that they would be mostly left alone. But there are people everywhere that are bigots.We just dont have that whole black/white struggle and culture of racist thinking like in the south (im so glad for that too because its such a waste!!) |
