No just anyone can be a caregiver and you need to have skills and understanding along with endurance and dedication. Some one needs a live in caregivver. Because no one else wants or can't do the giving. The care giver is a full time maid or butler. Bath -- wash dishes--clean the house--put up with smelly pets--maybe smelly cigerett oder---deliveries---shopping--... the patient to doctor appointments in your car---Washing clothers--washing linens---maybe people poop and urin--- Payment is food--lodging--days off--vacation--respect of privacy--Pay is every week or 2 weeks--promptly--- Caregiver is given money or credit card to pay for everything--you will not ask the giver to buy now and we pay you back later... $450.00 American would be fair for the slave the giver will be. |
