What questions will I be asked when I get to the canadian boarder? |
Travel Info I am traveling by BUS...so I know I do not need a passport until next January... Travel Tips It's really easy travelling by bus, so don't worry, they usually don't question everyone. You will most likely need picture ID (which you should have while you're travelling anyway). They'll ask you your citizenship, the purpose of your visit, how long you're planning on staying (or, on your way back, how long you stayed), and if you have anything to declare. If you DO have anything to declare, I would highly recommend declaring it. If you don't, they can red-flag you. Don't worry, it's nothing major or nervewracking. Have fun on your stay! Others You still need a picture ID that is issued by the State or Federal Government. They usually just ask where you are coming from and where you are going and how long you plan to stay... if they even ask that. Where you live, where you are going, how long you are staying, do you have any tobacco, alcohol or firearms. That's usually about it. You do need photo ID like a driver's license and another piece of identification - birth certificate etc. |
