Travel Info On july 3rd im gonig to BC..i have never been there.. so i would like to know what its like n stuff and id like to know if you been? Travel Tips Yes. It's beautiful. It's a big province; what it's like varies a lot. Everyone is assuming you are going to Vancouver, it that correct? By the way Randy, it isn't Victoria Island. It's Vancouver Island. Others I like stanley Park and the Vancouver aquarium(beluga whale show) Have fun I live in western Washington state and I have been to British Columbia many times. I have been to Victoria Island and to the Vancouver area. Both are nice. No real advise other than have fun and enjoy the sightseeing. Stanley Park in Vancouver is popular. The Gaslight district is popular. have a good time. If BC = Vancouver then go out to the UBC campus, have a look at the Museum of Anthropology for some high culture and then down to Wreck Beach for some counter-culture. Have fun. I will tell you, because I suspect no other Answerer will: one of the most surprising things: absolutely stupendous wines, especially the whites (some are equal to the best in the world). And the most famous of several wine growing areas, Lake Okanagan Valley, is just beautiful. |
