Tim Hortons conspiracy? |
Travel Info um.. when you go into a tim hortons where you have to make it up yourself.. it always seems to taste different than if you went into an actual tim hortons and the employee makes it for you.. it ALWAYS tastes better when you go into an actual tim hortons? Travel Tips If the coffee is fresh, then it tastes the same, but there is no way of knowing that in advance. For those who have never heard of self-serve T.H. coffee: Esso Service Stations use T.H. coffee/equipment/cups. Others I'm sorry I don't understand your question. I've never been! Hehehe You have a Tim's that is self serve? That's just not right! Switch to Second Cup or Starbucks immediately! Sitting at my desk with a Timmy Large, one cream, one sugar I have never been to a Tims where you do it yourself except when I ask for the cream & sugar on the side for someone else. Is that what you mean? Maybe you don't put in as much as the employee does why it doesn't taste the same. I buy the big tin of coffee and although it's the same coffee, my cream is different and I'm sure I don't put in as much sugar as I see them do when I get mine at the drive through so mine does taste different. It's like going into McDonalds, getting a Big Mac and trying to do it yourself it will taste different I know what you mean Steph ..I always sit and wonder why a Dunkin donut tastes so different to any other donut ive tried .I guess I have to get all weird and spiritual on you in order to get my answer accross . I am convinced there is a spiritual dimension to food . Food is often at the centre of reigious festivals even sacrificial offerings to strange Gods are eaten afterwards. the bible has a number of accounts of food being rejected because it was offerred to idols ? why ? Food is food and your prayers are words why do they have any association ? I had a girlfriend who refused to cook until I had put her into a good mood and swore blind it tasted better if she was in a good mood ! lenny henry the famous British comedian said one of the reasons he married his wife was that her simple breakfast tasted the best ever ! It was just eggs and bacon and he got married to her on the strength of that ! So i guess you have to draw a parrallel between food and spirit ? Perhaps its got something to do with belief ..the bible says all things are possible to him who believes ...or as a man thinketh so he is ...perhaps some people's food tastes better because they believe it will ? Or perhaps because like music from the soul we produce or create food from the soul too , its a creation with our own hall mark on it ..why does no one make your favourite dish like your mom ? Well thats my best attempt ..good luck ! |
