Travel Info hi.. I am failed refugee in canada,my application of prra in process which is the last appeal... I may send back to USA coz i enter from usa...can anyone tell me what happens if i reach US and what are my chances if i would like to stay there.... my wife's parents have usa green card and becoming citizen in a year time. and my 2 kids r US citizens ages 5,6 yrs... i will be appriciated if anybody helps. Travel Tips You have a good chance of remaining in USA because your children are US citizens and are too young to be separated from their parents. And the US Immigration does not like to send US citizens away to another country to potential persecution, especially if they are only 5 or 6 years old. You may need to have a sponsor, which might be possible from your wife's parents, since they have green cards, but more likely you would need a guarantor who is actually a US citizen or legal working age. I suggest that while you are waiting for news back from Canada, contact the US Immigration offices to find out what your options are if you are sent back to USA.
