Does a German Citizen (EU) need a visa to visit/enter Canada? |
Travel Info My nephew (12-years-old) is coming to the US to visit, from Germany. Since I live close to Canada, I would like to take him there. Does he need a visa to enter Canada? Travel Tips German citizens do not require a visa to enter Canada. However, due to his age, you may want to bring a letter from his parents that indicate that you are his aunt or uncle, that you are his legal guardian while he is in North America, and you are authorized to bring him to Canada for a visit. It should be signed by his parents, and indicate the dates you might reasonably expect to be in Canada for the visit.
