For Canada & USA- Are You Not Wondering If People & Animals Are So Dangerous ??? |
Travel Info That They Have Been Added To The, "NO- FLY LIST,'' Why Aren't They In Jail? Can anyone answer this with all honesty? thank you ;-) Travel Tips The airlines and private agencies that control the airways are allowed to refuse any persons that they feel may be a risk to the safety of other passengers. It does not matter if they are actually convicted of a crime or not. For example, someone with a contagious disease can be refused access to fly as it may infect other passengers and result in a quarantine of an entire flight. Likewise, someone with ties to a terrorist organization, or a history of violence, could be considered a risk to public safety and be added to the no-fly list. When the lives of 100-300 other people are at stake, I would rather that the airline or transport safety boards err on the side of caution. I know that this may inconvenience several people who end up on the no-fly list or with a name that matches someone on the list, but would you rather they just let anyone on the plane without verifications? They could perhaps have eliminated some of the threat by not allowing ANY carry-on luggage. I do believe that people who are added to the no fly list should be allowed the right to know which list they are on, what agency added them, and give them the option to appeal the decision. You should also have the right to find out if you are on the list PRIOR to arranging for flights and buying tickets. However, there is no doubt in my mind that airlines needed to be more vigilant with their security than they were pre-9/11. As for animals on planes, to my knowledge you cannot buy a seat for a dog, cougar, or alligator. And none of the animals made it on the no-fly list. Others Shut UP!!!!!! |
