Canada is kinda big. Can you narrow down your exact destination. Medicine Hat here has been known to be growing cactus around that time of year. That means it is HOT! We are sitting at 28*c/ 86*F and it is late evening right now on July 2nd. It will get hotter. Go to the Yukon and well there is a slight difference. Since you did not say where in Canada I would pack for the heat as it is hot hot hot this time of year almost everywhere Hot and humid in the east and dry and hot in the interior of B.C./ Hot in the day in Vancouver/Halifax and cool at nights because of the oceans. Expect to remain hot and humid everywhere else You don't need skis this time of year, only snow shoes. weather wise, depending on where you are going just check www.weathernetwork.com for rain dates but otherwise shorts and tank tops/ tshirts.
