Canada. historical question?

Travel Info
North America was colonised buy europeans and the USA went to war with Great Briton for its independence.
Why did canadians stay with true to the monachy.
This is not a personal opion question. i would like to know the historical version.

Travel Tips
Back in the day, most Canadians were French and they believed they would have a better chance of saving their culture and language under British rule then American rule. That's not to say Canada never revolted against Britain. There were two separate Rebellions in 1837-1838. One in Upper Canada (now Ontario) and one in Lower Canada (now Quebec). Other Travel Tips
I think but don't know for sure, that Canadians have always been a peaceful peoples so they didn't want to start any trouble. Americans will kick butt at the drop of a hat, then and now. This is only my opinion tho.
The historical version is that even though Canada was a soverign nation, it did not yet have total independance, therefore making it a colony under british rule.
In other words, Canada did not have a mind of its own at that time.

Any how, sometimes us Canadians are just too nice.
