Well you might want to try www.catrachotravel.com, i have no problem finding ticket when need them there...good luck on your trip!
Go to Travelzoo Supersearch or Farecompare.com. They are two sites that will help locate the best fare for you. Priceline also lets you name your own price, up to 60% off the lowest advertised flight for those dates, but it will not let you know the time for your flight until after you pay. Still, it's not a bad deal if you are somewhat flexible.
Due to a long distance relationship, I have done PLENTY of research to find the best deals on our flights to see each other.
Try Southwest - I've always had good luck w/ them and the sooner you can book, the cheaper.
Normally WestJet is cheaper for flights within Canada, but also check with AirCanada.
