Travel Tips Interesting that you'd think about that... and the answer is probably the sand, inland from the beach or anywhere they wound-up. Pirates were usually criminals, or men looking for other lives, and if they were on-shore they were unemployed. Hollywood & Disney make pirates look like characters more human than say, the modern day equivalent - of raiders off the West African coast for example. DIRT poor and desperate men that will slash a throat as easily as walking. In fact, how about wondering if ever, there was toilet paper used on land or sea.. if they EVER got a bath, aside from swimming and what their teeth looked like. I don't think you'd want to kiss one, even if at at sea for 8 months they looked like Johnny Depp. Others on the beach Pirates don't sleep! Crazy! usually in cat houses Holliday Inn LOL who knows!!!!! |
