What is San Pedro like in Belize? |
Travel Info Would like to move there but unsure of living quality. I have 2 small children that will need to go to school in the next year It looks a bit old and dirty on the island. Wondering is someone who has been there can give me their advise or any information. Travel Tips Here are two websites that I found interesting.) On the first site there is a message board to ask your questions. http://www.ambergriscaye.com/pages/town/... http://www.ambergriscaye.com/pages/edu/e... Others Just left San Pedro a couple of weeks ago. San Pedro is a small tourist oriented town. There are mainly dirt roads that are small which is ok to a degree since most people are getting around using golf carts and small mini-vans. One advantage is that because there are so many American tourist there are many things there that may not be located in other parts of Belize, especially in the area of food. There is a much greater variety then we have in Belmopan. There is a good deal to do since there any many activities for tourist; however, most of the activities are charged in U.S. dollars which can make things a bit more expensive. Other then that the previous comment refers to website that would probably be good to review. Good luck... |
