Attention haitian people who can cook?

I am wanting any and all recipes you have for haitian cooking, my husband is haitian and loves the food, however i only know how to make legumes and chicken with sauce, i did make griot once and didn;t like it. if you have any other ideas of suggestions on things to make i would love to hear them and have the recipes. P.S. i am not looking for links to websites, just actual recipes that you or your family make. (authentic haitian recipes)

My personal favorite

Haitian Smores

2 Gram Crackers
1 to 2 Marshmellows
1 square of Hershey's chocolate.
1 pinch of Haitian seasoning

Heat mashmellows over heat source such as open flame. Remove marshmellow. Sandwinch chocolate between the crackers. Sandwich the partially melted marshmellow between the cracker/chocolate. Sprinkle the seasoning over the smores and enjoy.
