Could You Tell Me If Miami Has The Same Sun Strength As The Caribbean?

Travel Info
Does the sun feel just as strong in Miami as the Caribbean or not?

Travel Tips
The closer you get to the equator, the hotter the sun. Most of the Caribbean is closer to the equator.)Miami sun is not as strong as the Caribbean.I don't think so , the humidity in Miami doesn't even compare to the islands in my opinion

=)
No but it is still pretty strong. You need sunscreen.
I personally think this is an interesting question, as I actually find that the strength of the sun in Miami is more than in the Caribbean. I lived in Puerto Rico for a long time and would just get tanned after a couple hours out in the sun, but in Miami I get downright burned. This is my personal experience, as it really should be the other way around, with the Caribbean being closer to the Equator. It is very hot in the Caribbean, especially with the higher humidity-you definetely sweat more. But actual temperatures tend to be around the high 80's-low 90's, while in Miami it will go up to the 100's. Maybe there's an added environmental factor I don't know about, but it's something I've wondered about.
