Travel Info Can anyone tell me about Ambergris Caye in Belize? Travel Tips Just went there several weeks ago. It was a great place to visit. We have two younger children and they ask about going back on a regular basis. It was great for the adults as well - easy to get around, wide variety of great food, tours/activities on the island and on the mainland as well. We stayed at Banana Beach which was great but there are plenty of other good places to stay as well. Source(s): http://www.bananabeach.com Other Travel Tips san pedro.. one of the more "tourist friendly" places in belize. great beaches, diving, snorkiling ect... try going to the Blue Hole.. its a giant hole in the ocean.. i love belize beliceno! Ya go to www.ambergriscaye.com and click on the message board. you can talk to ppl that live there and ppl that vacation there. Lots of ex-patriots live there and are very very helpful. They can tell you the best restaurants, bars, hotels, and give you tips on just about anything. Oh and do scuba the blue hole if you have a chance, or snorkle it if you aren't certified. |
