It is early enough to get a cheap fare. If you call and book through an agent, they will also guarantee you the lowest price. If the price goes down before the final payment is due, they will lower your price, but they won't raise it if it goes up.
They will also get you any available upgrades that come along after you book.

I have done this twice, and both times they got me a better price than any of the discount travel sites, or any travel agent could find for me. Even the ones that guaranteed the lowest price were higher than Carnival was. Source(s): experience

Check with your travel agent - that would be your very best bet. They have full info on the best of deals, especially since they work off of a commission, the onus is on them to find you the very best that they can get.
