St. Lucian Kweyol tutor?

Travel Info
I've been trying to learn Kweyol off and on for two years now I really need a teacher to keep me on track. The Kweyol I'm talking about is the one spoken in St. Lucia, if anyone can help that would be great. The University of The West Indies, Distance Education Center doesn't have this program

Travel Tips
ch茅wi, mwen ka pal茅 kweyol byen vini annou pal茅 ansanm!

I am a native speaker and i would love to help you speak Creole it is a very beautiful never mind what other people are saying you have the correct spelling because in Dominica and Saint Lucia they spell it Kweyol. Source(s): I speak creole

mwen ka pal茅 kweyol
Other Travel Tips
1. It is spelt CREOLE.
2. St. Lucia's creole is french and english based, so if u know a good bit of french ur good to go.
***However it is prounouced or spelt elsewhere, the context of which she is using the world calls for it to be spelt so. Note: Sweet check your grammar it is she ie not she are.***** :)
Hiring a private teacher will help, especially if you have one-on-one lessons. However, a good private tutor may be a little pricey. So you gotta think about that too. You might as well think outside the box! Try online tutoring. Then you can have a worldwide choice of tutors. And its cheaper than hiring a private tutor. Try sites like:

(1) http://www.tuitionplaza.com/tutoring/... - tutoring by retired teachers and volunteers (free)

2) http://www.tutor.com - tutoring by professional tutors (not free)

3) ... and many more (use search engine!).

Think outside the box and you'll have more options.

You are very wrong in saying that it is spelled incorrect. We spell and pronounce it in various ways on different islands.
You should know better.
Thanks for your attempts in correcting my answer and my grammar even though you misspelled the word yourself.***** (what ever that means).LMAO@ flower

I know some islands spell it Kreyol But they spell it KWEYOL in St Lucia and Dominica. So she is correct in that.

Best way to learn creole is from someone who is from an island that speaks the type patois or creole you want to learn.
If you have any family or friends on the island send then to the store next to the tourist bureau and ask for a booklet teaching a few phrases it cost $10.00 EC
Make friends with them or other persons who speak creole or patois it doesn't matter if you learn it from someone from the French West Indies or St Lucia or Dominica or even Haiti there are only a few word, mainly slang's that differ in between the Islands
Or go to the chat section of Yahoo and look for friends from St Lucia or the other islands and talk with them they would be able to help you with pronunciations

I suggest you do some research on the language it is good to know how it was originated and why we speak it differently on each island:)
