Which Sandals resort for my honeymoon in August should i go to? |
Travel Info Anyone ever been to the carribean in August? Where were you and how was the weather and everything? Im nervous about hurricane season. Have you tried the Sandals resorts, which one and how was it? Travel Tips I haven't stayed at a Sandals resort before (just visited), I prefer small & quiet. Sandals are pretty touristy, and high-energy, but seemed nice enough. tripadvisor.com is one of the best places (I think) to check out hotels, etc. prior to going. Lots of real reviews and pictures from actual people. Not just marketing hype. :) I'm traveling to the carribean in late July (as I've done previously). I have never had a problem with hurricane's yet, but I always get travel insurance just in case. The rules for some of them can get a little picky, so I usually go for one that costs a bit more, but allows me to cancel for any reason. If there is a category 5 hurricane in the area, I'm not going, even if planes are still flying. :) insuremytrip.com is where I go for travel insurance. Lets you compare, etc. Good stuff. Others You will love the sandals resort in St. Lucia, it is the best out of all the other sandals in the Caribbean,i am a travel agent and i do know good resorts,please email for a good package deals or more details. quincy@dynamicdestinationsinc.... i am from jamaica and any of the sandals resorts there are excellent.The service is great,i know if you go you wont regret. sandals st Lucia is the best i have being to usually nice hot weather in august, might rain for brief periods just to cool down nice though the one in Jamaica is the besttttttttt!!!!!!!!!! |
