Where is a good place to honeymoon in early October? |
Travel Info I was going to go to St lucia but the travel agent i talked to said i should stay away from there during that time of year... so now i dont know.. any suggestions? Aruba.. maybe Curacao? Travel Tips check out http://www.adventureantigua.com/...... and http://www.antiguanice.com Antigua is a little piece of paradise, has 365 LOVELY beaches and warm, friendly, inviting accommodating people. Delicious local dishes, lots to see and do. see for yourself. Lovely sites, hikes, explore the coral reefs - you can feed the fish. Get a taste of the night life - clubs, etc... truly a lot to .... the most awesome breath-taking Sunsets picturesque moonlit sky with the stars all aglow...... Others Hawaii :) You have the same problem with any of those locations...it's hurricane season in the Caribbean. Try the number on honeymoon location in America, Hawaii. Or how about Europe, you can't go wrong with Italy or France. Maybe think outside the box, try New York City. October is the best month of the year for NYC. We were in Aruba in the month of October and it was beautiful. Temps were high 80's low 90's My wife and I went to st. johns and virgin gorda. weather was perfect and not may tourists. St. Lucia should be fine also maybe you need a new travel agent. Well it sounds like you have your heart set on Warm sunny locales...But if I may suggest.. get out your sweaters and check out New England. It is so beautiful that time of year. Go to some beautiful inn in Maine or Vermont or New Hampshire. Go hiking, sit by a cozy fire in your room. The foliage colors are not to be believed. The historical towns and Mountains, County fairs, Ocean, lakes, so much to see and do, you can be in the White Mountains and in a short drive be in Boston or Cape cod. Congratulations! Try Maui! We stayed at the Kaanapali Shores resort. Nice rooms, beautifully landscaped resort, beautiful views, and beautiful golf courses. The rates here are about the best for this level of resort that your going to find. Take a look. http://www.resortquesthawaii.com/hawaii/... Of course, Maui is going to have a lot less night life than Oahu. You can take a day trip to Hana and see the BLACK sand beaches. We took a helicopter trip to Hana and got to see the extinct volcano and waterfalls by air along the way. There is also the town of LaHaina nearby with good food and shopping. If you want more action and night life you can go to Oahu. There is Waikiki beach with the shopping district right there nearby. Also, historic Pearl Harbor. And the view of Diamond Head. We actually spent 3 day on Oahu and 4 days on Maui. Resortquest has properties on Oahu, also. And best of all weather should be wonderful. Have a great time. |
