the Prince Maui Resort on the Mckenna end of maui is has an excellent Beach.. private feel, but large enough to keep your attention.
the beach at lake tahoe, Hyatt Incline Village is very different than Maui, more lake at swiss alps feeling.

Rent a villa on St. Maarten. Covers everything- house-like, romantic, and you can get one on the beach. They usually rent them out per week, so even better for you!
