Going on a cruise in august....?

We are going to Grand Cayman and Cozumel with Carnival. Any suggestions or warnings??

did the same trip last year. Buy the "all you can drink" ticket early! it's worth it if you are a drinker.

Don't drink the water in Mexico! And don't be too alarmed when you see soldiers with AK-47's guarding the launch area.

Also you want to save up for the excursions; snuba diving was a blast (snorkel/scuba) and see the ruins!

in cozumel,make sure you take the excursion where you ride the rhino(4 wheeler). it was a blast and you get to go swimming also
About Grand Cayman It is amaizing! I lived in the Caymans for ten years. The best thing to do is take the tour to the turtle farm. It is really cool. You get to hold baby sea turtles and learn about them it's really fun even if you're 30.
After that I would recomend walking around George town which is the location that you'll be dropped off at. Go to the National Museum you'll really get a fealing for the islands there. There are also a ton of shops and places to eat at in the same area. You have the option of just winging it which is nice.
If you want to snorkel, Singray City is AMAIZING but it's going to take up your whole day to go there. It is worth it to go but you'll be missing out on a whole lot more.
About Cozumel don't take a back pack with you, just take a small bag that you can keep close to you. There are a ton of pick pockets there. Also bring a bottle of water with you. If you have the option of going to see the ruins I would recomend spending the extra $ to see them it's really a once in a life time sort of thing. You will still have the oppertunity to do some shopping there too. I hope you have a great trip!
grand cayman you have to swim with the stingrays. Cozumel, you have to do a half day snorkeling, and still have time to hit downtown Cozumel for shopping...
