Belize is a central American country bordering Mexico.It is a small country enclave in the east coast of Mexico.
Belize (my home country) is in Central America, bordering Mexico, Guatemala, and the Caribbean Sea. It us a member of the British Commonwealth, and was known as British Honduras until 1982. It's a very small country with a population of about 280,000 people, and it is rainforest country. It is a democratically run country, and although Spanish is prevalent, it is the only country in Central America with English for the official language. It also boasts the longest living barrier reef in the world - an awesome place to dive whether you're an amateur or professional. A few fun things to do are visiting wonderful historical Maya ruins, caving, rainforest treks, and of course mingling with the locals, who like to have fun and are the friendliest people in the world (even more friendly than Canada!), and who wish to welcome you to our beautiful country!
Belize is in the heart of Central America, just below Mexico's Yucatan peninsula, bordered on the west by Guatemala and on the east by the Caribbean Sea. Formally known as British Honduras, it has the same longitude as Chicago Illinois and is a 2 hour flight southwest from Miami. Belize is a country of 8867 square miles, slightly smaller than the state of New Hampshire and contains some of the last virgin rain forests of the world. Off its coast lies the longest coral reef in the western hemishphere.

Its a small country, my home country, in Central America on the boarder of Mexico and Guatemala and faces the Caribbean Sea. It has many islands close to the shore where the city is. It is the only English speaking country in Central America and is considered to be a Caribbean country. Very nice, very beautiful.
