My fiance and I are planning to honeymoon next year in Antigua. I'll be 20. Does anyone know the drinking age? |
Travel Info Could anyone also offer any additional advice on how to make sure our honeymoon goes smoothly? Thank you all so much. Travel Tips It is currently 18, but I understand the UK is pushing them to raise it to 21. As far as making sure it goes smoothly, you want to be sure you are booking all of your hotels, side trips, etc. with a reliable travel agency. Be sure to select hotels that are reliable and have reviews, as opposed to those that are cheap. Cheap usually = trashy. Look online at hotels.com and see what people have to say about the hotel. Plan ahead of time things you want to do and see. Search against Antigua and "tourist attractions" and see what hits you find. Make reservations for everything ahead of time if at all possible. You would be amazed at how many things are already booked when you get there (especially anything like swimming w/dolphins or that kind of thing). Be sure to travel safely. Don't take chances on going places without talking with the concierge or hotel desk people to make sure it is safe. Never separate in a deserted place, and never go off with strangers who offer you great or cheap things! Read up on all the island government says with regard to safe travel there and travel tips. Here is their formal site (government dept of tourism): http://www.antigua-barbuda.org/index.htm... Hope you have a nice honeymoon - and remember, alcohol isn't required to have a tremendous time ;-) Others Hi i am a travel agent and i would love to help you and your fiance plan your trip, Please email for more details.Thanks. quincy@dynamicdestinationsinc.... |
